So going through the blog I’ve seen that a few of you have gotten a tattoo and you’re writing about it. I think thats a pretty decent idea so I’m going to do the same. Except in my case I’ve gotten I think 8 tattoos? my parents only know about 3 of them… I can’t wait till its warm so I can wear a pair of shorts and have them freak out.
Some background, my parents and my family in entirety do not like tattoos. Every one is “old school”, but I’m not. I was told by my dad when I turn 21 I’m allowed to do what I want so I got some tattoos and I haven’t showed them yet because they judge me enough and I don’t want to deal with anymore of their shit. my bad if this is a rant.
Anyway, some tattoos I’ve gotten in the last month.
I know their reaction will not be calm and approving. They’ve seen the little dagger because it is on my wrist, but they have not seen the two very large pieces on my legs. I think it will be funny when they finally see.
This one is the newest. I got it on Friday the 13th.
There is still 3 more that my parents haven’t seen yet. And I’m planning on getting another this coming week that they will see but I know what they won’t like it. After all I am my own person and I do what I want to. But yeah tattoos are cool and I encourage you guys to get more. Go to Daredevil Tattoo on division street in Chinatown my cousin owns it and she’s done all of these, and as you can see she is very good. I’ll update you guys on the next couple I get before summer starts.
Ever since I was young my parents told me to never get a tattoo. My mother claims some religious thing about the body of Jesus or God and something about the devil. My father on the other hand either claims the same thing (even though he doesn’t go to church #Shade) or he just doesn’t like the fact about having tattoos.
Of course at the age of 10, I agreed with what they said. I’m 19 now, and well I want a tattoo.
I decided to do a little test run with a company called Inkbox. On January 26 I bought an Elma and Medici tattoo.
They looked pretty realistic to me and I put them to the test.
My father was pissed off at me during this time (currently still is) and doesn’t really talk with me. All he did was look up and shrugged. I told him it was fake and he shrugged again.
I went to my mother and I decided to tell her it was fake first. She said oh okay and was glad it was fake. She then went off how I shouldn’t get a tattoo and all this stuff about it and I walked out of the room when it was too much for me.
I couldn’t tell if it was a good test run or not with my parents but I liked tattoos more after that.
I want to get a tattoo on my ankle of an outline of Long Island. My reason behind it is since I plan to move to California in the future, I would want a reminder of where I came from.
I’ve told my friend Nick about the tattoo and he said I should just do it and hide it forever from my parents. That would be a great idea if it wasn’t going to go on my ankle. He suggested it should go above my kneecap and it would be a really cool place to have it.
Now I would do anything this kid would tell me but I just feel like it would be better on my ankle but who knows if it would look good there. Now I do plan on getting a Freehand ink bottle to test out how it would look on my ankle or above my kneecap but I really want to get an actual tattoo and I don’t know what to with my parents. I either get the tattoo now or wait till I’m 21 and leave the house.
