So I went to Mount Tammany last weekend with my roommates. So we climbed the biggest or the longest trail of New Jersey. we climbed it in 3 hours and trail was for about 4-5 miles. It took me a while to climb at first but than gradually when I saw the beautiful scene after reaching halfway, it felt like I have achieved something. It was an amazing experience I never felt that nice. I will suggest you guys to go and do hiking.
The first guy that made a time lapse video was awesome. Time lapses are videos where you take a picture of yourself every so often, usually everyday, and then edit them together to see how you changed within a year. After the first video though the idea became stale and overplayed almost immediately. This video I found a few years back however, takes the time lapse concept and runs far beyond the pictures of oneself for a year in their room videos. The video is called “The Longest Way” and it features a young man traveling over 4,500km on foot through China in year. It captures all the essential elements of standard time lapse but he also takes things to the next level by introducing numerous same day sequential shots and captioning the film with his locations and activities. His journey took place from November 9th 2007 November 13th 2008. This video went on to become the #8 viral video of 2009 according to Time.com and also won countless Independent European film festivals. At the end of the video the young traveler flashes back to the first picture he took and makes everyone ask themselves the same question. After a year of events, people, and places influences out lives, are we even the same person we once were?
