Fortnite has taken the world by storm, no pun intended. The game has been all over social media platforms and everyone seems to have played or heard of it. In my opinion PubG (Player Unknowns Battlegrounds) is better and here’s why.
Compared to Fortnite, PubG is way more realistic. In fact PubG is the most realistic game I’ve ever played. I grew up playing Call of Duty which was very popular back then. Basic games like Team Death-match where your only goal is to reach 75 kills before the other team of 5 does. Shooting in Call of Duty was beyond simple, line up the enemy in the cross-hairs and you’re guaranteed a hit, not a kill. You see Call of Duty you’d have to put at least 4 shots into someone before they actually die which is so unrealistic.
The objective of PubG is the same as Fortnite for the most part. You skydive into the map, loot to find weapons and armor and every couple of mins the map shrinks into a smaller circle. When you land you have no armor and you only weapon is your fists. If someone finds a pistol and head-shots you… you’re dead and the games over just like that.
You want to collect the best armor possible to avoid dying off one shot. The armor ranges in 3 levels, 1 being the least protective and 3 being the best. Also you need a backpack to hold ammo and meds in and they also have 3 ranges of capacity, again 1 holding the least. Meds you need to find are First aid kits which boost your health to 75%, bandages which boost around 1/7 of your health each one but max out at 75%. In order to reach a full 100% health you need a med kit or “over heals” such as energy drinks and painkillers.
The weapons you could find range from pistols, shotguns, AR’s and sniper rifles. You’re aloud to carry 2 main weapons and 1 pistol and for each weapon you can find attachments such as scopes, compensators and extended mags. The best load-out in my opinion is an M416 with a 4x scope, extended mag & compensator with a Kar98 sniper rifle, 8x scope and compensator. This load out gives you range with the Kar98 and perfect full auto CQB with the M4.
The reason why I prefer PubG over Fortnite is because you must use realistic tactics to kill enemy players. If someone is in a building you can’t just shoot it down or build a path to get in like you could do in Fortnite. In PubG your best bet is to throw a grenade or sneak into the building to catch the enemy by surprise. When I use to play call of duty it was fun until they added the feature in advanced warfare where your character can jump 15 feet into the air which took away the simplicity of it, also making it so unrealistic. That’s also the reason I don’t like Fortnite simply because in real life you can’t jump onto a trampoline and para-sail 300 meters towards an enemy.
You guys can stick to playing unrealistic games, I won’t hate… but just know I’ll be wrecking kids in PubG until it gets outdated. If you’d like to watch me play PubG follow me on Twitch, I stream every time I play.
I’ve listed two videos below of the same person (Aculite) playing both games, if you’ve never played either these are great examples of what the games are about and how they differ.
Here’s a kill I got in PubG.
