In Manhattan there are so many shows to attend. For me, I’m a huge fan of comedy so I had the opportunity to attend one of my favorite late-night shows, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. For those who may not know what it is about, The Daily Show is a 30 minute satire “fake news” show that airs on Comedy Central. The show consists of what is happening in the world and gives its own spin to it by bringing comedy into the news. While at the studio, you basically get to see how everything is done in the perspective of a live studio audience.
I previously used to help out another show on Comedy Central called “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore” (which is also similar to The Daily Show) with audience recruiting within campus, so I attended way too many episodes. But as someone who loves comedy and this type of genre, it just never gets old. There isn’t much to say about it other than it’s a great time if you have never been to a show.. I can almost guarantee that you’ll want to attend another!
If anyone is interested in attending a taping, check out this link for the days they need a studio audience. The studio is located at 733 11th Avenue, New York, NY 10019.
The show airs every weeknight at 11 PM on Comedy Central.
