Hey Guys! Once again another post about my fraternity haha.
Two weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend Tau Kappa Epsilon Regional Leadership Conference (otherwise known as RLC) in Jersey City. RLC allows brothers within Tau Kappa Epsilon to get together for a weekend, attend workshops and network. These workshops varied from recruitment within our campus, to fundraising for our philanthropy, and how to become more prepared for the “real world”.
For example, we had workshops in order to “brand yourself” (which reminds me of the beginning of class, “who are you, and why should I care?”), mock interviews with multiple CEOs with different backgrounds in their career, and how to manage money, time, and other life necessities.
If it’s not that clear, I’m heavily involved within my fraternity so I always try to have as much memories and experience that I can’t anymore. During that weekend, I was able to meet multiple other chapters (other schools that have TKE) and brothers from around the country! The best part about it to me is that regardless if you’ve never met, there’s an instant brother-like bond made due to the commitment and connection we have through the fraternity.
Also we spent the time here, which was also really awesome with our view of Manhattan!
