Last week someone told me the king of the chess Kasparov has been defeated by “Deep Blue” several years ago. That’s true but it seems that Go is much more complicated than Chess.
Although AlphaGo won the match against Lee Sedol last year, they will not stop. Like what said by Demis Hassabis, (), “We founded DeepMind in 2010 to create general-purpose artificial intelligence (AI) that can learn on its own—and, eventually, be used as a tool to help society solve some of its biggest and most pressing problems, from climate change to disease diagnosis.”
Recently, DeepMind use the username “master(P)” to test new version AlphaGo on the Tygem and FoxGo server against human professional players. It is unbelievable that they defeated more than 60 players without 1 failure on these online games.
The problems are that more and more works has been done by computer. And it caused many people losing their work. Nowadays many workers in the industry has been replaced by robots, like auto industry. With the development of artificial intelligence like mechanical learning, it seems we are losing our advantages of brain either. How do you think about that?
