Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Ruth and she is the cutest baby ever !!!! She is about 8 months now and a screamer , but Ruth is not my child but she has quickly become a part of my family. She is a foster child that a woman at my church takes care of and it’s not just Ruth but her two other sisters as well. But for whatever reason the state declared their mother unfit to take care of them, these are three young girls ages 9, 2 and 8 months growing up without a mom it really breaks my heart. So every time I see them, I just love on them as much as I can, but one weekend their foster mom asked if we (my family and I) could babysit the youngest because she had to work. They packed her up and dropped her off for a weekend of fun. It was going great until she took her nap and woke up and started to scream. Nothing stopped her not a bottle, not the television or music, she just screamed and screamer for about an hour until she took a bottle. Then she was good for a while was laughing and playing on her own until about 6:00 in the evening where she looked out the window and then started to cry. I gave her to my mom because she raised three girls so she should be a pro at this but Ruth just cried and screamed and cried and screamed. By this point I wanted to cry and scream myself, she finally fell asleep by 8:00 but was back up at 8:30 and that here pattern right through the night. The next day was Sunday and that’s church day so that means being up early and you’d think my mother would have a little sympathy but nope up at 7:30 am. Plus I had a musical rehearsals with some kids after church , after that weekend I’m definitely NOT ready for kids and babysitting over night is just not for me. Like a girl need her beauty sleep.
