I have zero patience when Christmas shopping and I don’t have time for it either. I’m not the best gift giver, either. Sometimes I ask people to make a list of specific things they want and send it to me, but that takes away the surprise and thoughtfulness. I’ve tried so hard to give the right gift for many years where it’s useful, looks nice, and generally tailored to the person I’m giving it to. With no luck and lots of research, I found the perfect answer: department store “Gifts” section. You can pick filters such as recipients, price, and type of gift. They have tons of recommendations and packages where it looks like you put a lot of thought and care into it (without actually doing it). Below are some examples from Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s. Since we all have tons of people to shop for, I set the price of a gift between $20-$100 to be reasonable.
Kiehl’s Serene Sleep Set – $58
Protocol Video Drone – $99.99
Magna-tiles Grand Prix 50-Piece Set – $79.99
W&P Design The Shaken Cocktail Kit – $60.00
Fitbit Flex 2 Fitness Wristband – $79.99
Kid Made Modern Bongo Kit – $29.99
