Lately I’ve found myself saying we and our when talking about the presidential election as if I’m even American. I’m not, yet I keep saying it, why is that?
What is happening right now is not only affecting Americans, it’s affecting me, it’s affecting you, and it’s affecting everyone else around the world (well it should be).
A friend of mine recently wrote on Facebook that people abroad are more concerned about this election than they are about problems in their own countries. I agree with him but then again, when have we ever had an election like this before? (There we go, I said we)
I tried to stay up last night when they were announced who the new president of the United States of America would be but it took so long and honestly I was just way too tired so I went to bed.
So I’m about to check now!
I already know who won and I’m hoping I’m wrong. Anyways…
Drum roll please…
(Spoiler Alert if you’ve been living under a rock)
Mr. Donald J Trump is the new president of the free world.
Let that sink in. No matter who you were voting for, let that sink in!
Donald Trump is our president!
Sorry my mistake. Donald Trump is YOUR president!
So like any other super cool young adult at 7:30 am, I’m watching his victory speech!
It was HUUUGE *Trump impersonation*
Honestly, I was waiting for Steve Harvey to walk in but sadly he never did.
Twitter is saying that HARAMBE, the dead Gorilla, which i might add died months ago got over 15,000 votes for President! A dead Gorilla.
Now I don’t know if that’s true but if it is, PEOPLE VOTED FOR A DEAD GORILLA!
I have lost all hope in Humanity.
Ok then. Have a nice day
