I’ve been very stressed with school, money, work & other extracurricular activities over the past few weeks and my friends back at home knew I’ve been stressed out… So, this past Sunday my amazing coworkers/friends from back home decided to surprise me and kindly bought me a ticket to one of my favorite places, Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.
The day was fun filled and the weather was PERFECT. We stopped by almost every exhibit and saw tons of animals and ate some great food. We got on almost every single roller coaster without a flash pass (you pay extra money to get a device which allows you to reserve a space in line and you pretty much skip 80% of the line) and we’re a bunch of broke college students so there was no way we were paying for that!
Some of the rides had lines that had up to a 90 minute wait, but we didn’t wait over 30 minutes for any ride… I gotta say, these ride operators have gotten much better over the years! I was so surprised at the efficiency of the park.
I’m a total thrill freak and I live for that feeling of adrenaline you get in your gut when you go down a really huge drop… Sadly, I only felt it the entire day once, when I used to get it if I went down a hill in the car.
So, with that being said, the adrenaline junkie side of me, (although I still love roller coasters) has decided I need to move onto bigger and better things… So, this summer, ya boy is going sky diving. 🙂
I love my coworkers! They knew just what I needed to de-stress… Now, back to the real world!
