Ok. I am an alien when I go out without phone in the busiest metro of the world ?
Do you get goosebumps thinking you are left to get lost in middle of the night in New York City without Google maps on your third day in the United States.
Being just another international student in the city I too had new desires to go and explore on the very first day of being here specially with the term “FREEDOM” literally being into action now in my life. (Not really I had that back home to, yet it’s a different feeling)
The dazzle glimmering life is what one expects on very first day in the City so did I but being a normal Girlventure I got lost.
Voila! Yes, that’s true without cellular network hitting my phone I was completely lost in Upper West Side around 12:30 AM.
About what I heard from people are our Harlem seemed scary not actually it was.
The stupid reason to be lost was a mistake of taking a wrong train back to Residence Hall, being under impression I know everything I am very smart gave me chills that night.
Over smartness paid its roll leaving me been lost. I got of at 125 St/ Lexington Av instead of 125 St/ Broadway bus I took wrong trains and that made me roam round and round like in some marry-go-round around that place around about walking for an hour maybe I found out my way to the place where I was supposed to be.
Knowing you are roaming around same place thrice makes you feel stupid right?
I felt exactly same like you feel about me while reading this article stupid and trust me it’s good feeling stupid at times because it’s totally worth but only if you go out and start cherishing your those stupid times.
They call it one of the busiest metro.
