As you can tell from the blog title, this Sunday was my time to clean our suite. Correction: not to clean… more like to disinfect; it sounds more suitable. I woke up this morning, finished up some quick assignments and started cleaning around 12:30 PM. Can you believe that I spent 1 hour sweeping and moping the floor? There was so much dust, hair, and paper scraps; I’m pretty sure you could make a carpet out of the hair and dust. If this is how these animals treat the common area, I can only imagine what their rooms look like.
After that I moved towards the 2 outer sinks and they were disgusting. The picture does not do it justice. First of all, how are there watermarks all the way to the top of the mirror? Is there a contest in the suite on who can spit the highest? Moving on, my bathroom wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be. I guess these girls know how to keep ONE area sanitary.
And last but not least… the kitchen. Where do I being? The stovetop was covered in food and grease and so was the microwave. You know what pisses me off? If my food starts splattering everywhere, I’ll wipe it off. 2 seconds and its done! But oh no! Of course these fools don’t clean up after themselves, they just expect the food to find its own way off the stovetop or wall or floor and so on. And then we have the sink (which I wrote about last week). I had to spray the sink 7 times and I am not exaggerating. 7 times just to remove the grime; guess what? I couldn’t even get it all off. It is officially imprinted in our sink.
So once I was finally done, I took my can of Lysol and sprayed half of it into the suite’s air. It is now 4 PM and I only finished up about 30 minutes ago. Let’s see if these clean conditions can last till next Sunday.
