MIAMI Art Basel 2015

Like everybody know I went to Miami one week ago. I spent there the best time I ever spent in USA. It was incredible ! Such a beautiful experience thanks to my best friend, my friends and the new ones.

Since I am in New York I am doing my internship in a gallery. Michele Mariaud gallery is located in SoHo. Every years she participates to Miami Art Basel. So I took my chance and I decided to go with with here. For me it is one of the best experience I could ever have in my professional life. Everybody is there for that huge event. It was the best opportunity to create contacts.

This years Michele participate to SCOPE. The event took place in ocean drive, on the beach. A great place. For me it is better than Art Basel at the convention center. Here you can really see new things. So i work officially two days. That was so intense but I met a lot of people and I met people that I already new. It is a small professional “community” so you have to be always at the events and the fairs. More people see you more you make part of this “community”. That is what I want !!! I will always remember the last the last da and night. We all were so tired. Some were not happy of the experience because they loos money and the others were so happy to have succeed. At 8pm the turned off the light and everybody applaud. Beautiful moment !!!!

 

I also make contact with Colombian galleries. I will visit them  in December.

I stayed at a friend apartment at the Flamingo. I don’t sleep a lot because we spent our time in privates parties or on the boat. THAT WAS AMAZING and I am thinking about living there next year. There are a lot of galeries  and it is a good life. People are not stressful as in New York or Paris. Everything is Cool.
