The last 58 minutes of “Disconnected” was just as good as I thought it would be but…
It’s still a cliffhanger!
Does his son ever wake up?
Does the couple find the person actually ruining their life?
What happens to the reporter?
(sorry I forget names very easily but I guess that’s why I’m not going into movie criticing)
I just assume no for all of them, because if it was a happy ending they would have shown it. But that is not what this movie is about. This movie’s purpose was to show the negative, and potentially fatal, effects of cyber misuse and they achieved it. I particularly liked the parts when you see that each story starts to tie into each other. Although the tie in was a nice twist, I pretty much knew what was going to happen.
As soon as I knew this lady was getting personal with the boy selling his body, I was like “is this even legal?” and I knew eventually it was going to be a problem.
Of course the father was going to find the boy who bullied his son into hanging himself, why wouldn’t he? That’s what the parents do in movies like this, they don’t just let it go. He connected the dots (extremely fast in my opinion) and found the truth.
As soon as the husband couldn’t use his credit card.. I knew it had to do something with this ‘mysterious friend’ on the internet. Once you see the wife’s face on the phone while they’re talking, it was obvious.
I’m still glad I scrolled down and finished it.
