Have you ever had a moment where you realized who you actually are? This might sound crazy but think about it… each person, let’s face it, is naive about themselves in some aspects. When you see somebody else do something you don’t like, you notice it immediately. But when you do the same thing that the other person did, you may not realize it. Even when someone else points it out, you may not believe them or realize. This is because we go day-by-day just “doing”. We do and say as our brains tell us to do and we live life normally because that is what we have lived with our whole lives.
Why am I talking about this? I’m glad you asked.
Recently I had this “uh-huh” moment. I realized that there are some aspects of my personality that I never really analyzed. There are some ways that I handle things that I concluded I wanted to change and improve. I love analyzing my own personality because I believe that if you don’t understand yourself, how are you going to understand anyone else. This is a time of my life where I’m learning about myself to further learn about others, especially the people around me that I care about.
If you have never personally been through a situation to make you analyze your own personality, it may be hard to understand this concept. But it also might be a great time to try it out.
I don’t have any links or nice pictures to go along with this post simply because this was a “diary” session for me. It’s easy to free write when it’s something close in your heart and in your mind.
Written for me, from me, and to you.
