A few weeks ago, I gave you guys some ideas on what to do this winter in New York. I recommended that you visit a couple of street fairs around the city. This week, I went to one myself and I want to tell you all about it!
A couple of days ago, I went to the Bryant Park Winter Village. It’s such a fun way to spend your night; they have everything! From shopping to food to even ice skating! It was quite crowded, so I didn’t ice skate, but it looked like so much fun!
As soon as you walk in, you can see all the little stands selling the craziest things. We went into a couple of them and they have such unique things! For example, one store sold only Christmas tree decorations, in any shape/size/thing you can imagine! Another store we went into had beautiful handmade jewelry which make the perfect, affordable gifts for this holiday season. There was even a couple of necklaces that were made from real leaves and dipped in 24K Gold!
Another great thing about the winter village was the food! There was a stand, right next to the ice rink, which sold the best Belgian Fries you will ever try in your life! They will make them right in front of you and you get to eat them fresh and warm. I’m not really sure about the difference between French Fries and Belgian Fries, but I loved them! There was also a great waffle shop there! They looked delicious, but unfortunately I was too full from the fries to try them. There was also a lot of coffee shops and restaurants with a nice view of the ice rink.
The whole atmosphere of the park was just incredible. The decor and ambience really made it feel like the holiday season! Here are a few pics from the winter village
