Last weekend, my parents and I wanted to try one of the best brunch in NYC. After hours of indecision we choose Le Barricou who’s name sounded french but means nothing in french… We headed to Williamsburg with no reservation which was a bad idea because the restaurant was overcrowded. We had to wait 30 minutes to get a table (very bad start). But after 30 minutes of waiting under 84 F° (at least) we finally got the menu. We ordered fresh orange juice (large and delicious by the way) and I decided to choose pancakes. The waitress told me that it was 25 minutes wait to get the pancakes. I was very astonished. After those long minutes, the pancakes arrived and I can tell you I wasn’t expecting anything like that !!! They were enormous like a birthday cake with berries on it and strawberry butter and of course mapple sirup. It was boiling hot and just DELICIOUS (the picture speak for itself) ! I’ve never had such pancakes before in my life. If you are starving and a big fan of pancakes I suggest you run to Williamsburg next weekend and try those pancakes from Le Barricou. You won’t be disapointed I assure you but just know that you’ll have to wait a long time to get it !
