For my last blog post, I would like to share this my favorite cookie recipe with you guys. Chocolate Crinkles are heavenly delicious.They are soft and just melt in the mouth. It also has a coat of icing sugar on top. Before I gave you the recipe, I feel obligated to tell you how many calories in it. 1 cookie has 79g of calories and 4g of total fat. Lets start:
4 tablespoons (56 grams) unsalted butter
8 ounces (230 grams) semisweet or bittersweet chocolate. coarsely chopped
1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated white sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (195 grams) all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1 cup (110 grams) of icing sugar
1- Let the chocolate and the butter melt together in a water bath
2- Mix the entire ingredient together starting with eggs and sugar. Then, vanilla and the chocolate. Later add the dry ingredient to the chocolate mixture.
3- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
4- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C)
5- Form the cookies into the shape of balls and roll it into icing sugar then place it in a prepared baking sheet.
6- Bake 8-10 minutes.
