Another week, another food adventure. I finally made it to New York City’s famous Peking Duck House. This has been on my to do list for a very long time now as I love peking duck. I know that it is not for some people but the experience itself is well worth making the trip there. They have two locations one located in Chinatown and the other is on 53rd and 3rd Avenue. I made my reservation at the Upper East side location and left completely stuffed! When you first sit down, the waiters greet you with hot tea, crispy noodles and duck sauce, and pickled sweet cabbage for the table. For our meal, we decided to do the Peking Duck for two priced at $52. The meal includes crispy duck, scallions, cucumbers, hoisin sauce paired with chinese pancakes. The best part is, they make each individual pancake for you.
Let me tell you, it was yummy! As you all know, I love food. If you’re feeling gutsy and want to go out of your comfort zone then I definitely would recommend this meal! It sounds like quite a bit of money but in reality it’s a bang for your buck.
What do you guys think, would you go to the Peking Duck House?
