Happy Easter Everyone ! Hope everyone has celebrated and eaten as much as I had. Normally, my family eats dinner early on Sundays. By early, I mean 12:30 p.m. or 1 p.m. I woke up late today so I basically starting eating dinner the second I opened my eyes.
Of course, my family ate first. A table that is meant for 6, but we managed to fit 8 people. My family will find a way to fit as many people as possible. Nonetheless, the menu consisted of ham, stuffed mushrooms, artichokes, lasagna and salad. All of which was delicious and well worth it.
After the eating festivities ended, we all migrated to the living room. Every holiday, we take a 3 hour break in between meals. That break can either give us the ability to take a nap, play games, get homework done, or even better watch Glee on our new flat screen television with surround sound. It is our favorite show, so why not relax and kick back to songs and a show we all love.
Unfortunately, I missed the cheesecake and other yummy desserts because my 2 hour break turned into a 4 hour nap. But looking back on today, I couldn’t have asked to spend did with anyone else other than my family. What did you do for Easter?
