Last year, phone users were introuduced to a new social media appilication. This highly new obsession is known as Vine. It gives users the ability to take 6 second videos of whatever topic of interest. Certain topics may include comedy, animal, and many more. At first, I would like any videos that appealed to me but then a new update for Vine was introduced. Users can “revine” a previous uploaded video. “Revine” was similar to “Retweet” on Twitter. This new update sparked a major outbreak with Vine which engaged more users to interact in the application.
In 2014, Vine has reached over 40 million users. This means that the same users possibly view the same Vine video. Those Vine videos make the popular page, which display the most viewed Vine videos of that current day. I am a frequent Vine user on the weekends. This past week I was scrolling through the popular page when I noticed something a bit familiar. Tell me if you notice anything familar about the videos below.
Did you spot it? That is right, a few of the most viewed Vine users were filimg in front of NYIT. Ever since these Vines were uploaded, viewers have wondered where in the world they were filming and wishing they went to our school. Now I am curious to know who would you love to spot in front of our school?
