Around this time of year I get the most excited because New York City presents us with Restaurant Week. Yep, you name it any of your favorite restaurants or places that are on you “need to go to” list have a prix fixe menu for a reasonable price. There are over hundreds of restaurants that participate from February 17-march 7th here in the city. All three courses are at a set price for $25 at lunch or $38 at dinner. Not bad if you ask me since New York’s finest dining is on the list! Some restaurants include, DBGB located in the east village, Fig & Olive which has many different locations, Les Halles, and so on.
As you can tell, I am a true “foodie”. I think Restaurant Week brings many of us together because it is a great excuse to go out for a nice meal. We must admit, we are attracted to deals. If high end meals are being offered at a decently low price, we are the first ones to run through the door. Or atleast I think so. I still have a few more days of this years event so I am planning to book reservations somewhere good! Have any of you participated in this years Restaurant Week? What restaurants are your favorite?
