Last summer, I was invited to spend a few days in Corsica. This is a french island located in the Mediterranean Sea, faced to Italy. I have a special affection for this beautiful island where I go since I was a child .. Every year, I have spent my holiday with the same group of friends in Porto-Pollo, south of Ajaccio. But that summer was different.
We were in a boat. It was terribly exciting to be able to move, go anywhere as you desired. The sea was calm and conducive to navigation. At night, the stars have filled the sky with their brilliance, then we can see the Milky Way. On morning, the sun rises with incredible colors in a clean and blue sky. Life was good and simple. Comfort, Peace and Tranquility were reigned in a friendly atmosphere. The best thing about being on the top deck of the boat was lying down and feeling the baking sun.
One morning, we decided to go to a silver magnificent beach situated in the nature reserve, the Bay of Calla Orzu. I was not returned for at least 6 years. I had forgotten how great this place was so magical. Maybe I saw it differently ? I do not know. In any case, I was amazed by the beauty of the place. The water was so clear that you could see thousands of fishes, and into the depths. We arrived at the moment as the sun was burning. We all jumped into the water. The sea was deliciously warm and salty. Further, there is a hut on the silver beach, a restaurant called ‘At Francis’. The fish are fresh daily and there is everything you want. Personally, I love the spaghetti with prawns and cream. This is one of their specialties. I acknowledged that it was not very diet for lunch (especially on the beach with this warmth) but I could not resist to the subliminal value of seafood. I’m very greedy and it is stronger than me, I had to make a little comment about the restaurant. Even if you don’t see it in the picture, you can imagine.
