Music is is a form of media that everyone lives by. Most off all the radio stations in NewYork City. I realized that they do have many varieties but with the amount off ads on them sometimes it just makes me feel like I should re-organize my playlist of 20,000 list songs and just store them in my Iphone. With the rate I’m going there has never been time for that! Then I discovered Pandora Its a music app availaible on the app store thats plays music based on the playlist artist that you pick and it plays with no ads and with related mucis depending on what music genre is selected in your own playlist. This is something I was addicted since I founs out about and I listen to it almost everyday now even through the workout in the gym as they have a great selection of music depending on the artist that ou favor the most. I would definitely recommend this to those who love listening to radio ads free. They do have a free version of Pandora or if you use it often you can subscribe and upgrade to Pandora One which is like $3.99 a month. Feels quite priced up for a radio app but because I use it daily I didnt mind the monthly fee commitment. If you’re interested on how it works do check it out on their website Pandora and its easily accesible if you own an Iphone They do have a free version so you can always keep that on your media list in case you run out of songs to hear.
Photo of Grace Helbig from the YouTube channel DailyGrace
My last blog was a bit too serious so this week I wanted to write about something that would at least be a bit more cheerful. Grace Helbig is a comedian who has a channel on YouTube under the username DailyGrace. Her videos are addicting which is why one of her most sold t-shirts says “it’s a trap!” and I can very well testify to that. Here is a video of her doing a One Direction inspired manicure. Have a look and see how hilarious she is.
DailyGrace vlogs five days a week and every day she has a set format/theme. Although her videos follow a particular pattern every week, her videos are so entertaining that you can’t seem to get enough of them. The reason why her viewers love her so much is because she is genuine and her videos have just the right amount of inappropriate comedy. I guess its refreshing for viewers to see a woman who isn’t trying so hard to be the way everyone would expect her to be. The fact that she is very relatable, intelligent and funny makes her stand out from the crowd of many YouTubers.
Lastly, I would like to end this blog with one of her most popular segments in which she interacts with her viewers and replies back to their comments while hazing them. Enjoy

Last night was the biggest night of the year for film and entertainment. The Oscars were great from the host, to the wins, fashion and musical performances. I enjoyed the fact that the theme was music in film. Many great performances were given and the cast of Les Miserables definitely out shined them all in my opinion. The entrance of each actor/actress onto the stage as the entire cast grew while performing “One Day More” brought back flashback of the greatness that was the movie.
In terms of winners, many were pleased with the most of those who won. It was easy to say that Daniel Day Lewis, Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway were easy bets. The moment that I was most anxious for was the award for best supporting actress and I am glad that Anne Hathaway won. Although twitter was incredibly negative towards her. Many people were just plain hating Anne Hathaway for no given reason. Christoph Waltz was the first winner of the evening taking home an Oscar for best supporting actor.
The Fashion was also very interesting at this years Academy Awards. Many actresses played it save sticking to nude colored dressed and simple silhouettes. Anne Hathaway’s dress was amongst the unfortunate happenings of that evening. Her performance dress on the other hand was incredible. My favorites were Jennifer Anniston, Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams. These beautiful ladies looked incredible in their gowns.
All in all, this years Oscar show was incredible and Seth MacFarlane did a great job as a host keeping the show entertaining all 3 hours. The best of the best was Channing Tatum and Charlize Theron’s dance to Seth MacFarlane singing Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight.
