Cobra Starship and Tommy Hilfiger Close New York Fashion Week!

Happy President’s Day! As you all know New York Fashion Week officially ended Thursday February 16th. The closing the event was none other than Tommy Hilfiger with a guest performance by Cobra Starship at Lincoln Center. This American Express sponsored event was for card members only, seating was arranged by card type. Yours truly was in attendance and I’ve got great pictures and videos to share with you!

Preppy Chic

The fashion show lasted approximately 30 minutes, and was extremely upbeat. The lively band Cobra Starship kept the show going performing songs like Good Girls Gone Bad and You Make Me Feel Good. Tommy Hilfiger’s classic preppy look put a spin on things in their Fall 2012 line. This season bold colors such as deep pink and teal will be present in their fall line. Maxi dresses, green military jackets, and florals (floral jeans!!!) are BIG for this coming fall so of course the designer has integrated them into the mix.

Cobra Starship was decked out in Fall 2012 Tommy Hilfiger ready to wear as they performed. Watch the final walk through as the “Hilfiger Family”, as seen on their ad campaigns, presents the Fall 2012 line which is available now. Watch carefully, yes ladies and gentleman that is a midget!!! Overall the fashion show was a great success, and everyone received a $100 gift card to the Tommy Hilfiger store!
