The video is low quality but the message is of the highest quality. This is a 13-year-old girl who spoke to the United Nations on the subject of environmental issues, but her works speak volumes greater than that. Before I moved to the city I worked at a daycare from June of 2003 until November of 2009. When I worked there I learned many lessons. One of the most profound lessons I learned though was that kids are completely honest and transparent. They always speak what’s on their mind. Another lessons was they most kids take things literally and also think very systematically. In this video the young girl speaking can not understand, and likely does not know, of the corruption and profiteering off the destruction of the environment that these men reap the rewards of. In her mind, if you want something to stop, you just stop doing it. If only it was that simple for all of us.
